Sunday Stars

Hello girls! Sorry I've been a little lazy and haven't written for a few days, but my life is currently so hectic! I have three weeks left in school until my exams start so everything is a little manic. Are any of you doing exams? Let me know if you are!

Today I'm going to do the first installment of a series I'm going to be doing every week, called Sunday Stars. This will feature my favourite things from the week, from makeup, to fashion, to people, to music, to food... anything! I hope you enjoy, and comment below and tell me your favourites! Also, I'm again using generic images because my camera hates me!

Urban Decay <3s NYC Palette

So, this is otherwise known as the Urban Decay Book of Shadows III and I got it last Christmas (2010). I've always loved it, but this week i've  used it even more than normal. I came up with a beautiful eye look using Last Call, Psychedelic Sister, Midnight Cowboy Rides Again, Perversion and Uzi, and I've had so many compliments on it. I don't think you can buy this palette anymore, but if you see it BUY IT! it's well worth an investment, and it has some incredible colours!

Soap&Glory The Righteous Butter

I used up the last of my Soap&Glory body butter a few months ago and refused to buy more until I had used up all my other moisturisers. Well, I did and so I treated myself to a small size of the body butter! It is a white, creamy solution but I find that it is light enough to use on my face, and it soaks in very quickly. I paid about £2.50 for my small travel size, which is well worth the money because it will last me around two months! I also bought the S&G Sugar Crush body exfoliator, which smells divine but probably isn't the most incredibly exfoliating product.

Simple Eye Makeup Remover

This eye makeup remover is absolutely fantastic, in my opinion. It's not overpriced (although I bought mine from home bargains, so mine was even cheaper), but works so effectively. It's also non-irritating, a key aspect when it comes to makeup on the eyes!

Unbroken by Demi Lovato

I'm a huge Demi fan, and Unbroken has finally been released in the UK! I already downloaded all the songs, but this week I got to go into HMV and buy the physical CD. How exciting! To be honest, I'm not a fa of her more 'RnB' style songs, such as 'Who's That Boy' or 'Together', but I love 'Lightweight', 'Fix a Heart', 'Give Your Heart a Break', 'For The Love of A Daughter' and of course'Skyscraper'. If you do prefer more uptempo songs, I'd recommend 'Hold Up' or 'Unbroken'. But basically, buy this album!

YouTube Artists
Megan and Liz - DIDYC

I've always loved YouTube singers and gurus, but this week I've really been loving two in particular. First of all, Megan&Liz, above. I've followed these girls (who are twin sisters) since about 2009, and they've come so far. They're currently recording their debut album, which I can't wait for! If you want to listen to their covers, my favourites are 'Good Girl' by Carrie Underwood, and any Taylor Swift songs. If you want to listen to their incredible original songs, try 'Long Distance', 'Maybe Possible', 'Happy Never After', 'Run Away' or 'Are You Happy Now?'.

Next is the wonderful Juliet Weybret. I've also followed Juliet for about three years, and she's also come on so far. Her originals are getting better and better, and her new one, War We Left Behind, is amazing! So you should definitely go check out her channel and her originals songs and covers. My favourite originals are 'War We Left Behind' and 'Prison Break'.

That's all for this week! I'm going to try my best to get some more posts up this week, but I can't guarentee daily action since I'm so stressed about exams! Sorry guys, speak to you soon,
E x
